What is Tena?

Tena is the capital of the Nopa province. Its located in the Amazon rainforest and east of the Andes.
With the weather averaging around 73 degrees Fahrenheit, I recommend a light a jacket. Since you are also in a jungle I recommend bug repellent.
What can do you in Tena?
This city is great for seeking a thrill. You can go kayaking, rafting, and swimming in the surrounding rivers. The rivers vary in size and strength so there is a different experience in each one.
Keep an eye out for the wildlife, such as caimans, birds, and monkeys, throughout the jungle. Discover the caves hidden in the rainforest. If you go on February 12 and on November 15, you can party to the festivals the citizens have on those days. Traverse through the jungle when you go on tours. Go to the amusement park in the city. Last but certainly not least the food. The restaurants here serve many of the delicious dishes you would find in other cities, such as Cuy or tostones(fried plantains).
